Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right Distance Education and Overseas Education programs. The ideal candidate should have experience in student counselling, admissions, and converting enquiries into enrollments. Candidates from EdTech companies, training institutes, overseas education consultancies, or distance education institutes are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding Distance Education and Overseas Education programs.
- Understand students' academic background and career goals to recommend suitable courses.
- Handle enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and walk-ins.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including documentation and application support.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into admissions.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM regularly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Achieve monthly admission and counseling targets while delivering an excellent student experience.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in Academic Counselling, Education Counselling, Admission Counselling, or Student Counselling.
- Experience in Overseas Education, Study Abroad, or Distance Education counselling is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle student queries and admission closures.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
