Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and result-oriented Regional Sales & Business Development Manager with approximately 25 years of hardcore experience in the B2B outbound travel segment. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth industry knowledge, strong global supplier connections, and a proven track record in developing and managing B2B markets at a regional level.
Candidates with hands-on experience handling outbound business for CIS Countries and the Middle East markets will have a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Market Expansion
- Develop and implement regional B2B sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint across assigned regions.
- Drive revenue growth through acquisition of new travel agent partners and strengthening existing relationships.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging outbound travel trends.
Business Development
- Build strong alliances with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate travel partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and incentive programs.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, travel marts, and networking events (domestic & international).
- Develop and promote new outbound destinations, packages, and niche products.
Market Expertise – CIS & Middle East (Preferred)
- Manage and expand outbound travel business to CIS countries and Middle East destinations.
- Leverage existing supplier networks and destination knowledge to maximize profitability.
- Ensure competitive contracting and smooth coordination with international DMC partners.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Achieve assigned regional revenue targets and profitability margins.
- Monitor sales KPIs and prepare monthly/quarterly business performance reports.
- Forecast sales projections and contribute to annual business planning.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Guide and mentor sales teams across regions.
- Work closely with operations, product, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of professional ethics and brand representation.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality Management.
- Professional qualification in Travel Management from a reputed institute (preferred).
- Minimum 25 years of extensive experience in B2B outbound travel sales within a DMC or tour operator environment.
- Strong exposure to CIS and Middle East outbound markets (preferred).
- Established network of travel agents and corporate clients across regions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to close high-value deals.
