Job Purpose:
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:1. Accounts & Bookkeeping
- Post daily entries in Tally/ERP (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, contra, journal etc.)
- Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Record and reconcile petty cash.
2. Banking
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
- Monitor daily bank transactions.
- Handle online banking payments/NEFT/RTGS.
3. Payables & Receivables
- Follow up with customers for payments and maintain ageing reports.
- Verify vendor invoices and prepare payment schedules.
- Process employee reimbursements/advance settlements.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Assist in preparing and filing GST returns & TDS returns.
- Maintain vendor GST/TDS details and support audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
5. Payroll Support
- Coordinate with HR for monthly salary inputs.
- Maintain attendance & deductions as required.
- Process salary payments and maintain payroll records.
6. Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS financial reports.
- Share P&L and expenditure variance reports with management.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.
7. Audit Support
- Assist internal and external auditors.
- Provide supporting documents and reports as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (freshers can be considered depending on need).
- Knowledge of Tally MS Excel & MS Office.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles & statutory compliance.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
