Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to lead front-of-house operations and ensure excellent guest service. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, good communication abilities, and experience in handling restaurant service operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front-of-house restaurant operations
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
- Lead and coordinate service staff during shifts
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and handle customer concerns professionally
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and service standards
- Coordinate with kitchen and billing teams for smooth operations
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and punctuality
- Handle billing support and POS coordination when required
- Train team members on service standards and customer handling
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance within the outlet
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Service Staff in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Ability to manage rush hours and operational pressure
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in QSR, café, casual dining, or premium restaurant operations
- Basic English communication skills preferred
