Inventory Management
- Manage end-to-end inventory across Raw Material, Packaging Material, Finished Goods, Consumables, Engineering Stores, and Spares.
- Ensure 100% inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation and inventory controls.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production and sales.
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual physical stock verification.
- Ensure accurate batch-wise, location-wise, and system-wise inventory management.
- Drive inventory optimization and working capital improvements.
Store Operations
- Manage complete inward, storage, issuance, transfer, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and proper material traceability.
- Maintain warehouse layout, bin management, and space optimization.
- Ensure timely material availability to production and dispatch teams.
- Implement and sustain 5S and warehouse best practices.
Process & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs for all store and inventory activities.
- Strengthen inventory controls to eliminate operational leakages.
- Ensure complete ERP/WMS discipline with real-time inventory updates.
- Coordinate effectively with Procurement, Production, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, GMP, and company policies.
Team Management
- Lead and manage the warehouse and stores team.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor team productivity.
- Train team members on SOPs, inventory controls, safety, and warehouse discipline.
- Build a high-performance, accountable, and process-oriented team culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify development opportunities.
Audit & Reporting
- Ensure readiness for internal, statutory, customer, and external audits.
- Prepare and present MIS reports on inventory performance.
- Analyze stock variances and implement corrective actions.
- Track inventory KPIs and recommend process improvements.
