LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Sales Trainer)
Trove Innovations (India) Pvt Ltd | Premium Surfaces | Experience Centres
Location: Jayanagar, Bangalore (HQ + Showroom Travel)
Experience: 3–5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Languages Required: Kannada & Hindi (Both Mandatory)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Trove is a fast-growing premium tile brand with 14+ Experience Centres across Bengaluru. The Learning & Development Executive owns the training function across all locations — identifying what teams need, delivering training that actually sticks, and measuring whether it has changed behaviour on the floor. Training material is provided by the organisation; your job is to deliver it effectively, evaluate the outcome, and report back with real insights on individual progress.
If you have a background in sales training, an eye for creative and design spaces, and can hold a room in both Kannada and Hindi — this role was built for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Needs Identification
- Work with HR, branch managers, and department heads to identify training gaps across all Trove locations through observation, performance data, and direct team interaction.
- Conduct periodic Training Needs Analyses (TNA) for new joiners and existing staff, prioritising areas that directly impact customer experience and sales performance.
- Build and maintain a structured training calendar, planned in advance, shared with all stakeholders, and executed with discipline.
Training Delivery
- Deliver training across three core areas:
1. Sales Training — customer engagement, requirement understanding, product presentation, objection handling, and closing. Highest priority area; requires energy, real examples, and role plays, not just slides.
2. Product Knowledge Training — Trove's tile range, collections, materials, finishes, and applications.
3. Soft Skills Training — communication, negotiation, and product pitching.
- Travel to Trove's Experience Centres across Bengaluru to deliver training on-site.
- Adapt delivery style to the audience — a new joiner needs a different approach than a senior team member.
Onboarding & Induction
- Own the onboarding training journey for every new joiner, covering brand, product, and standards before they face a customer independently.
- Assess and clear new joiners before they go on the floor.
Evaluation & Performance Reporting
- Evaluate every training session through assessments, observation, and feedback, not just attendance.
- Prepare individual performance reports covering strengths, gaps, assessment scores, and follow-up areas.
- Track training completion rates and post-training performance across all locations, flagging individuals who need additional support.
- Share regular training effectiveness reports with HR and leadership.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Any graduate. A background or genuine interest in interior design, architecture, or creative fields is a significant plus.

- 3–5 years in training, L&D, or people development.
- Sales training experience is a strong advantage, especially training frontline retail or showroom teams.
