- Provide comprehensive medical care to admitted and outpatient patients.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform detailed history taking, clinical examinations, and formulate treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as required.
- Conduct daily ward rounds independently and with consultants.
- Attend emergency and critical care cases promptly.
- Assist in ICU management whenever required.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, X-rays, CT scans, MRI reports, and other diagnostic tests.
- Perform routine bedside procedures such as lumbar puncture, pleural tap, ascitic tap, central venous catheter insertion (as per competency), arterial blood gas sampling, and other approved procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in medical records.
- Prescribe medications according to hospital protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
- Coordinate with specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding disease management and preventive healthcare.
- Supervise Junior Residents, Interns, and Medical Officers.
- Participate in clinical meetings, mortality meetings, case discussions, and departmental academic activities.
- Present seminars, journal clubs, and case presentations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, NABH/JCI standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care.
- Participate in rotational duties, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per departmental requirements.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students when assigned.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the HOD or hospital management.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
