The Production Manager is responsible for managing daily production activities in the mechanical seal manufacturing unit. The person will ensure production targets are achieved on time, product quality is maintained, and manpower and machines are utilized efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are completed on time.
- Manage operators, supervisors, and production staff.
- Monitor machining, assembly, and testing of mechanical seals.
- Ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Reduce production delays, rework, and material wastage.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Sales departments.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- Ensure machines are properly maintained.
- Follow safety rules and maintain workplace discipline.
- Train and guide production employees.
- Implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
