About the Role
Unique Global Solutions (UGS) is looking for an enthusiastic and technically strong Junior Piping Engineer to join our Process Piping Division. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineering graduate or diploma holder who wants to build a career in stainless steel process piping, fabrication, erection, and industrial project execution.
The selected candidate will work directly with senior engineers and gain practical exposure to industrial projects in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, HVAC, and data centre industries.
Key Responsibilities
Read and understand P&ID, General Arrangement (GA), and Isometric (ISO) drawings.
Assist in preparing and modifying piping isometric drawings.
Prepare pipe cutting plans and fabrication sketches.
Calculate pipe lengths, fittings, flanges, valves, and other material requirements.
Support fabrication activities in the workshop.
Supervise pipe fit-up, alignment, and erection at client sites.
Coordinate daily with welders, pipe fitters, helpers, and site supervisors.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily work reports.
Ensure fabrication and installation comply with project drawings and specifications.
Assist during hydrotesting, flushing, and final inspection.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of stainless steel process piping.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Basic understanding of welding processes (preferably GTAW/TIG).
Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred).
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering), or
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
Fresher to 1 year of experience.
Internship or project work related to piping or fabrication will be an added advantage.

Salary
₹18,000–₹30,000 per month (based on qualification and skills may increase with experience)
