Dressfolk is a premium, sustainable fashion brand that celebrates Indian craftsmanship through thoughtfully designed apparel. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Finance Executive to support our day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
Role Overview
The Junior Finance Executive will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting compliance and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Prepare payment schedules and assist in vendor payments.
Bank & Ledger Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, and ledger balances.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
GST & Compliance Support
- Assist in GST data preparation and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the CA for statutory filings and audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for compliance purposes.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support budgeting and expense tracking.
Payroll & Expense Management
- Verify employee expense claims and supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll data preparation and salary processing.
- Monitor petty cash and maintain expense records.
Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and banking partners as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in an e-commerce, retail, or D2C environment will be an added advantage.

- Accuracy of accounting entries.
