Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow CSDM across the CMDB.
Design, build, and maintain CMDB structures and CI class models aligned to CSDM.
Support and optimize ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Health Log Analytics.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer).
Perform CMDB health checks, data reconciliation, and CI class model reviews.
Work directly with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver ServiceNow solutions.
Identify and resolve CMDB data quality issues, CI relationship gaps, and process inefficiencies.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST, SOAP, or MID Server.
Document CMDB governance, data ownership, and CSDM implementation decisions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and service management teams.
Recommend CMDB and CSDM maturity improvements and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of ServiceNow experience with strong expertise in ITOM.
Hands-on implementation of CSDM, CMDB restructuring, and CI class modeling.
Strong ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
Practical experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
Strong understanding of CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and identification rules.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external tools.
Excellent troubleshooting skills across CMDB data quality and ITOM processes.
Comfortable working directly with customers in a hybrid delivery environment.
Preferred Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM
CMDB/CSDM-related ServiceNow certification or training is a plus.
