About the Role
We are looking for a driven AI & Data Engineer to help us accelerate our transition from a service-based model to a scalable SaaS product. You will sit at the intersection of data engineering, AI automation, and healthcare domain expertise — owning pipelines, cutting costs, and shipping smart features fast.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and automate data pipelines using Python to process, transform, and manage Excel/spreadsheet-based workflows at scale
- Conduct structured market research to identify feature gaps and opportunities relevant to a service-to-SaaS transition, and translate findings into actionable product roadmaps
- Leverage LLMs and AI tooling to automate repetitive internal tasks, reducing manual overhead across teams
- Apply AI-driven medical reasoning (clinical NLP, ICD mapping, drug-disease associations) to improve diagnostic efficiency and workflow speed
- Optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for accuracy, latency, and token cost efficiency
- Implement cost-cutting strategies across cloud infrastructure, LLM API usage, and data storage without compromising performance
- Perform data analysis and generate actionable business and clinical insights from structured and unstructured datasets
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, openpyxl, SQLAlchemy, asyncio)
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Familiarity with medical data standards (ICD-10, SNOMED, drug databases)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Modal, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect technical output to business decisions
- Understanding of SaaS product architecture and feature lifecycle
Nice to Have
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma)
- Background in healthcare or pharma domain
- Prior work in service-to-product company transitions
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
