This is not a traditional IT management position. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business and operational thinking, and is comfortable moving between AI, automation, software development, APIs, business systems, and process improvement.
You will work directly with leadership and operational teams to identify inefficiencies, redesign processes, and build technology solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, and help the business scale.
What You Will DoAI & Automation
- Identify manual bottlenecks across operations, sales, customer service, and finance.
- Design and implement AI solutions, workflow automation, API integrations, and intelligent processes.
- Take automation projects from concept to production.
- Measure the business impact of technology initiatives.
Software & Technical Delivery
- Lead developers, contractors, and technology partners.
- Review code, architecture, APIs, and technical approaches.
- Challenge unnecessary complexity and unrealistic development estimates.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and focused on business value.
- Remain technically involved rather than operating exclusively as a manager.
Business Process Transformation
- Work directly with business leaders and team leads to understand existing workflows.
- Identify duplicated work, manual processes, inefficiencies, and data gaps.
- Redesign processes before applying technology.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Business Systems
- Own and optimize core business platforms and systems.
- Integrate CRM, analytics, finance, QA, workflow, and other SaaS platforms.
- Improve data reliability and visibility.
- Reduce operational complexity and technology debt.
Measure ROI
Technology investments must produce measurable results.

Requirements
- 8–10+ years of relevant professional experience in technology leadership, software development, business systems, systems integration, or related areas.
- Experience leading technology teams, software development projects, or business systems initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with AI implementation, automation platforms, APIs, SaaS platforms, integrations, and modern development workflows.
- Proven experience deploying AI or automation solutions into production.
- Experience connecting technical solutions with business functions such as operations, finance, product, consulting, or process improvement.
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflow optimization.
- Ability to review technical architecture and code.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Must currently be based in India.
- Comfortable working remotely with international stakeholders.
