Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to convert doctors’ voice recordings into accurate written medical reports. The candidate should have good listening skills, typing speed, and basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to recorded dictations from doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Transcribe medical reports, discharge summaries, prescriptions, and patient histories accurately.
- Review and edit documents for grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
- Ensure reports are completed within the required turnaround time.
- Coordinate with medical staff for clarification when needed.
Required Skills
- Good English communication and grammar skills.
- Fast and accurate typing ability.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of MS Word and computer operations.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma holder.
- Certification in Medical Transcription is an added advantage.
