As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data integration and platform performance.
- Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data platform architecture.
- Experience with data processing workflows and pipeline orchestration.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and system interoperability.
- Ability to analyze and optimize data platform performance.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with architects and team members.
