Role Description
The Cloud Engineer will work full-time on-site at Pune, collaborating with internal teams and clients in the energy sector. This is a long-term key position for the company.
Responsibilities include:
· Designing, building, deploying, and managing robust and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
· Assessing client requirements, recommending appropriate cloud architectures, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for IoT, analytics, and product development workloads.
· Automate deployments, ensure system security, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
· Travel to client site for hardware/software deployments, as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
· Must: Strong communication skills.
· Must: Familiarity with software development for cloud environments, including APIs, microservices, and DevOps best-practices.
· Python and Bash programming required
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
· 1-3 years of experience.
· Software development – both cloud and desktop-based apps – using Python, Java, or similar.
Good to have:
· Cloud/AWS certifications a plus.
· Experience in the IOT, industrial analytics, energy or oil and gas domain is highly beneficial.
· Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning.
Salary: Depends on experience. Initial salary is fixed, with a chance to grow rapidly in a key startup role.
