About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned SAP FICO Data Migration Consultant to lead the FICO data migration workstream for a largescale global transformation program As we transition from SAP ECC to S4HANA the candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity accuracy and timely availability of financial data across multiple geographies
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes combined with strong technical expertise in SAP data migration tools LTMC BODS LTMOM Databricks The candidate will be responsible for the endtoend migration lifecyclefrom aligning with the strategy and extraction to transformation loading and reconciliation
Key Responsibilities
1 Migration Strategy Planning
Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define data requirements extraction rules and validation criteria
Develop detailed data cutover plans including sequencing of load cycles Mock 1 Mock 2 Dry Run Production Cutover
Work with the overall data migration leads in defining and executing the data migration strategy for the FICO stream across multiple country rollouts
2 ETL Execution Extract Transform Load
Manage the extraction of Master Data and Transactional Data from legacy SAP ECC and nonSAP systems
Lead data cleansing and transformation workshops to align legacy data with the S4HANA data model eg CVIBusiness Partner conversion New Asset Accounting
Execute data loads using S4HANA specific tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit LTMC LTMOM and SAP Data Services BODS Exposure to Databricks will be preferred
3 Data Validation Reconciliation
Perform preload and postload validation to ensure 100 data accuracy
Conduct financial reconciliation eg Trial Balance matching Subledger to General Ledger reconciliation between legacy and the new S4 system
Troubleshoot and resolve data load errors working closely with the technical and ABAP teams
4 Stakeholder Management
Work with local finance teams in different countries to handle localization requirements eg local chart of accounts tax codes bank formats
Facilitate user acceptance testing UAT for migrated data and obtain signoffs from business stakeholders
Required Skills Qualifications
Functional Expertise
10 years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations and 2 dedicated migration projects
Deep knowledge of Financial Accounting FI GL AP AR Asset Accounting AA and Bank Accounting
Strong knowledge of Controlling CO Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting and Internal Orders
S4HANA Proficiency Comprehensive understanding of S4 innovations including the Universal Journal ACDOCA New Asset Accounting and the CustomerVendor Integration CVI process for Business Partners
Technical Migration Expertise
Preferred exposure to Databricks Expertise in SAP Migration Cockpit LTMC and LTMOM Migration Object Modeler
Experience with SAP Data Services BODS or LSMW Legacy System Migration Workbench for complex transformations
Strong SQL skills or ability to write functional specs for ABAP teams to build custom extractionload programs
Proficiency in Excel VLOOKUP Pivot Tables for largescale data analysis and validation
Data Objects Scope You must be confident managing the following objects
Master Data GL Accounts Cost Centers Profit Centers Bank Master Fixed Assets Business Partners CustomerVendor
Transactional Data GL Balances Open APAR items Fixed Asset Balances historic and current year and Cost Object balances
Nice to Have
Certification in SAP S4HANA Finance or Data Migration
Experience with SAP MDG Master Data Governance
Exposure to SAP Landscape Transformation SLT replication
Prior experience in multicurrency and multiGAAP IFRSUS GAAP Local GAAP environments

Communication Ability to explain complex data issues to nontechnical finance users
