Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Project Consultant– Carbon Credits to support carbon project development, validation, and registration across diverse sectors. The role involves preparing documentation under various global carbon standards and supporting MRV (Monitoring, Reporting & Verification) processes.
Job Location: Bengaluru (Full-Time)
Experience Level: 1-3 Years
Required Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Energy) or M.E./M.Tech (Energy/Power).
- Hands-on exposure to carbon crediting mechanisms such as VCS, Gold Standard, GCC or Puro, earth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Identification & Eligibility Assessment
- Identify eligible activities under recognized carbon standards.
- Conduct baseline and additionality analyses.
2. Documentation & Analysis
- Prepare PDDs, Emission Reduction (ER) Sheets, and Investment Analysis reports.
- Select and apply relevant carbon methodologies (e.g., ACM0002, AMS-I.D, AR-AMS0007).
3. MRV & Verification
- Develop MRV plans and emission reduction calculations.
- Coordinate with DOEs/Validation & Verification Bodies and standard registries.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Carbon Crediting Mechanisms – VCS, GS, GCC/Puro. Earth; PDDs, ERs, and Carbon Methods.
- Familiarity with lifecycle GHG accounting and renewable project data.
- Understanding of sustainability frameworks and carbon standards.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and last salary drawn.
