Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor project activities from initiation to completion.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, production, QA/QC, and site teams.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource utilization.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients for project execution.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation plans.
- Track project milestones and prepare weekly/monthly status reports.
- Support project commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during execution.
- Maintain project documentation and records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering discipline.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in project execution or project engineering.
- Good understanding of project management principles and engineering practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management software is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
