· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Or BE in mechanical
· Experience in precision engineering, cutting tool manufacturing, CNC machining, / tooling / grinfding/ hobbing or machine tool industry is preferred.
Job Summary:
LMT Tools India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for skilled Production Operators to join its manufacturing team. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating CNC Turning Machines, Grinding Machines, or End Mill Grinding Machines to manufacture high-precision cutting tools and machined components. The role requires adherence to production schedules, quality standards, safety procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate CNC Turning, Grinding, or End Mill Grinding Machines as per production requirements.
· Perform machine setup, tool changeovers, tool offset corrections, and basic parameter adjustments.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
· Manufacture precision components within specified tolerances and quality standards.
· Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other inspection tools.
· Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities to the supervisor or maintenance team.
· Perform wheel dressing and machine adjustments for grinding operations whenever required.
· Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and product quality as per customer specifications.
· Meet daily production targets while minimizing rejection and rework.
· Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S, Kaizen, ISO and safety practices.
· Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
· Maintain production records and inspection reports accurately.
· Follow company policies, SOPs, quality systems, and workplace safety regulations.
