Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented professional to manage petty cash and handle basic banking operations. The role involves disbursing cash for office or operational expenses, maintaining accurate records, performing banking transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the petty cash fund on a daily basis.
- Disburse petty cash for small office or job-related expenses.
- Collect, verify, and file bills, receipts, and vouchers for all petty cash payments.
- Record all transactions accurately in the petty cash register/system.
- Ensure petty cash expenses are properly authorized.
- Reconcile petty cash balances regularly and report discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit petty cash reports to the accounts/finance department.
- Request reimbursement or replenishment of petty cash when required.
- Handle banking operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and cheque processing.
- Maintain records of banking transactions and assist in reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks, branches, and internal teams for smooth banking operations.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting, cash handling, and banking operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
Experience:
- 0–2 years in accounts, finance, or banking (preferred).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
