Job Role: Procurement Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a Procurement Manager to manage the sourcing and supplier relationships of raw materials and services crucial to refractory recycling operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring supply continuity, cost-efficiency, and quality, while upholding sustainability and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing & Relationship Management- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers of refractory materials, chemicals, and services. Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality standards, and timely deliveries.
Strategic Procurement Planning- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with cost optimization, sustainability, and business goals. Leverage market insights to guide procurement decisions and anticipate material trends.
Negotiation & Contract Management- Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms on pricing, delivery, and payment. Draft and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Risk & Quality Control- Assess and mitigate risks such as supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality deviations. Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to manage supplier performance and product standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Consult with Operations and Technical teams for procurement needs and sourcing decisions. Coordinate with Logistics to ensure smooth material movement and warehousing.
Cost Optimization & Reporting- Execute cost-control measures, track procurement KPIs, and report on key metrics (e.g., savings, lead times, supplier performance). Develop dashboards or reports for senior management review.
Compliance & Sustainability- Ensure procurement processes comply with internal and regulatory standards. Promote sustainable procurement practices, aligned with Global Recycling’s environmental goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: 4-8 years of procurement experience—ideally in industrial raw materials, chemicals, or manufacturing sectors. Must have experience in Refractory or Ceramics.
Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities. Excellent organizational skills—detail-oriented and capable of multitasking. Analytical mindset for cost-control and use of procurement data.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with refractory materials and basic chemical processes (a plus).
Travel: Willingness to travel domestically (and potentially internationally) to suppliers and operational sites, as needed.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
