Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnosing Hormone Imbalances: Identify disorders in the endocrine glands by reviewing symptoms, medical history, and physical exams. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Ordering & Interpreting Tests: Prescribe and evaluate diagnostic tests, including targeted blood work, hormone level checks, imaging (MRI, ultrasound), bone density scans, or thyroid biopsies. [1, 2]
- Developing Treatment Programs: Create personalized care plans which may include hormone replacement therapy, medication adjustments, or lifestyle and dietary modifications. [1, 2]
- Managing Chronic Diseases: Provide long-term care and monitoring for lifelong conditions like diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), hypothyroidism, and osteoporosis to prevent complications. [1, 2]
- Collaborative Care: Partner with primary care physicians, oncologists (for endocrine-related tumors), and gynecologists (for fertility and menopause) to provide cohesive, multidisciplinary care. [1, 2, 3]
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
