As a Restaurant Captain, you are responsible for leading the front-of-house team, supervising dining operations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. You act as the key point of contact between guests, service staff, and kitchen teams to deliver smooth, high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience
- Greet, welcome, and seat guests warmly and professionally.
- Assist guests with menu explanations, recommendations, and answer questions.
- Ensure guests are attended to promptly throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, special occasions, and resolve complaints tactfully.
Operations & Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate dining room staff (waiters, stewards, support staff).
- Train new staff on service standards, upselling, and menu knowledge.
- Monitor seating flow, reservations, and manage table assignments.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the dining area.
Service Quality & Standards
- Ensure service follows restaurant SOPs and quality expectations.
- Take an active role in preparing tables, managing presentation, and service consistency.
- Oversee end-of-shift duties, cash/billing reconciliation if applicable.
- Collect guest feedback and report trends or issues to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/Hotel Management qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in restaurant service; supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹17,000.00 per month
