Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and organized Factory Admin to manage day-to-day administrative activities at the factory. The role will involve coordination with production, HR, security, housekeeping, transport, vendors and other departments to ensure smooth factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day factory administrative operations.
- Maintain attendance, shift schedules, leave records and manpower data.
- Coordinate with HR regarding employee joining, documentation, attendance and employee-related issues.
- Manage factory security, housekeeping, canteen and facility-related activities.
- Monitor factory premises, cleanliness, discipline and basic facility requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and service providers.
- Maintain records of factory assets, stationery, consumables and administrative materials.
- Handle purchase requests and coordinate for timely availability of administrative requirements.
- Maintain records of electricity, water, maintenance and other facility-related expenses.
- Coordinate for repair and maintenance of office/factory infrastructure.
- Support transport and vehicle-related coordination, if required.
- Ensure proper implementation of factory rules, policies and administrative procedures.
- Maintain necessary registers, documents and reports for factory administration.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for manpower and operational requirements.
- Assist management during audits, inspections and compliance-related activities.
- Handle employee grievances and escalate important issues to HR/management.
- Ensure proper communication of company notices and instructions to factory employees.
- Prepare daily/weekly administrative reports for management.
Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and email communication.
- Ability to manage blue-collar workforce and factory support staff.
- Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of factory discipline, housekeeping and safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities.
Education & Experience
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 3–6 years in Factory Administration / Plant Administration / Manufacturing Administration.
- Experience in Furniture Manufacturing, Interior, Engineering or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate
A candidate who is proactive, disciplined, hands-on and capable of independently managing the administrative requirements of a factory environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
