PLC Programmers are responsible for creating and managing programs for industrial automation systems, primarily in manufacturing and production environments.
Core duties include designing new PLC programs, modifying and troubleshooting existing systems, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety of automated machinery.
Developing, writing, and implementing PLC software using ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams.
Interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics to design control systems.
Testing automated systems for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Troubleshooting and debugging PLC systems to resolve operational issues.
Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and project managers to integrate PLC systems into production processes.
Providing technical support and training to clients or internal teams.
Documenting development processes and maintaining system records.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages and familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and PLC hardware.
Ability to analyze and solve complex automation problems logically and independently.
Knowledge of machine mechanics and electrical systems.
Qualification : Diploma in Mech / EEE/ Engineering Graduates
