Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled MEP Project Manager to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, coordination, quality control, cost management, client communication, and timely project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and manage complete MEP project activities from initiation to final handover.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, manpower requirements, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure timely execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other MEP works.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action to avoid delays.
Technical Management
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, civil teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure proper coordination between Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Civil works.
- Identify design clashes and provide practical technical solutions.
Site & Team Management
- Lead and supervise Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractor teams.
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment are available at the site.
- Conduct regular site meetings and monitor daily work progress.
- Maintain productivity and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and HSE standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address quality or safety issues.
Cost & Commercial Management
- Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within the approved budget.
- Review material requirements and coordinate procurement activities.
- Monitor subcontractor work, measurements, and billing.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, variations, work orders, and project-related documentation.
- Support the preparation and submission of client bills and project reports.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal management.
- Attend project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Resolve technical and operational issues with project stakeholders.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and project teams.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Plan and supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure all required inspections and approvals are completed.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure of pending works.
- Coordinate project documentation, as-built drawings, and final handover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Project Management or MEP will be an advantage.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in MEP projects.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Project Manager or senior managerial role.
- Experience in commercial buildings, industrial projects, infrastructure, metro, data centers, hospitals, or large construction projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and project execution.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project planning and scheduling abilities.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, billing, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with extensive experience in managing end-to-end MEP project execution. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple stakeholders, managing large site teams, controlling project costs, and ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
