About the Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into business by conducting meetings, product demonstrations, understanding customer requirements, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and closing sales for Maco Group's software and technology solutions.
BDM = Conduct Meetings → Solution Selling → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure → Revenue
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Conduct meetings and product demonstrations arranged by the Inside Sales team.
- Understand client business challenges and propose suitable software solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, references, and self-generated leads.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Client Consultation
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Deliver compelling presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Position Maco Group's value proposition effectively.
Proposal & Commercial Management
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms.
- Coordinate with internal teams for solution customization when required.
Sales Closure
- Drive the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and documentation.
Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales records in CRM.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Forecast sales pipeline and revenue opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue generated.
- Number of meetings conducted.
- Product demos completed.
- Proposal-to-closure ratio.
- Monthly sales target achievement.
- Customer acquisition and retention rate.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or MBA preferred.
- 1–3 years of proven sales experience.
- Preference for candidates from Insurance Sales, Direct Sales, Banking, Financial Products, SaaS, or Enterprise Sales backgrounds.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
