Ricon Associates is a specialized flooring company providing high-quality PVC and vinyl flooring solutions for commercial, healthcare, educational, sports, and institutional projects.
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Estimator / Quantity Take-off Specialist to calculate ordering and quotation quantities for vinyl flooring. You need to analyze architectural CAD drawings, optimize material yields, and prepare accurate estimates for client bidding and procurement.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan Analysis: Review and interpret architectural blueprints, floor plans, and elevation CAD drawings.
· Quantity Take-off: Measure floor areas precisely using AutoCAD to determine exact net square footage.
· Waste Optimization: Calculate gross ordering quantities by accounting for roll widths, tile patterns, seam placement, and pattern matches.
· Quotation Preparation: Generate detailed material breakdowns, cost estimates, and official commercial quotes for clients.
· Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve scaling or layout mismatches in drawings by collaborating with architects and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and flooring takeoff software (e.g., MeasureSquare, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam).
· Mathematical Accuracy: Exceptional arithmetic skills to calculate geometric areas, percentages, and waste factors.
Communication: Ability to explain technical layout calculations clearly to non-technical clients and internal sales teams
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
