Site Engineer – Interior Projects
Job Summary
The Site Engineer – Interior is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing interior fit-out works at project sites. The role involves coordinating with clients, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality, safety, and budget requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out activities at the site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with project managers for resource planning and scheduling.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Manage site manpower, subcontractors, and material requirements.
- Ensure smooth workflow among civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and interior teams.
Quality Control
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards.
- Verify dimensions and measurements before execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare snag lists and monitor rectification work.
Material Management
- Estimate material requirements and monitor consumption.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials.
- Maintain inventory records and minimize material wastage.
Safety Management
- Implement safety procedures and site regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safety guidelines.
Documentation
- Maintain site records, work progress reports, and measurement sheets.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and billing documents.
- Track RFIs, variation orders, and project correspondence.
- Assist in project handover documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or commercial interior projects.
- Experience in office interiors, retail, hospitality, or residential projects preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of interior fit-out materials and construction methods.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings.
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Problem-solving and team management abilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹37,985.67 per month
