Job Summary
Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
You will work in a 24/7 operational environment to identify and resolve network issues before they impact customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network and server infrastructure using monitoring tools and dashboards
- Respond to alerts and notifications in a timely manner
- Perform initial troubleshooting of network and system issues
- Coordinate with other technical teams during incident resolution
- Create and maintain incident tickets in the ticketing system
- Follow established procedures for escalation and communication
- Conduct routine network maintenance tasks during maintenance windows
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and network changes
- Generate and distribute performance and incident reports
- Maintain network diagrams and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in NOC operations or network administration
- Understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of both Linux and Windows server environments
- Familiarity with networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Hands-on experience on switches and routers.
- knowledge of routing protocols.
- Configuration of VPN.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Network certification (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
- Experience in a cloud hosting or data center environment
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Familiarity with log analysis and security monitoring
Pay: ₹219,450.20 - ₹244,000.00 per year
