Role Overview
The Donor Story & Content Coordinator is responsible for transforming child data into meaningful, high-quality donor-facing content across multiple platforms. This role bridges raw field data with storytelling—ensuring every child’s story is communicated with clarity, dignity, and emotional connection.
In addition to donor profiles, this role will support SAF International’s digital presence by creating engaging content in both English and Punjabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate child information from Punjabi to clear, donor-friendly English
- Create short, compelling child stories for:
- Website listings
- Donor profiles
- Printed ID cards
- Develop storytelling content for social media in both Punjabi and English
- Edit, crop, and optimize child images for consistency and quality
- Maintain and update child data within internal CRM systems
- Organize and structure raw data received from India teams
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all child profiles
- Follow and improve storytelling SOPs and content standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in English, Mass Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong command of both English and Punjabi (Gurmukhi script)
- Excellent writing and storytelling ability
- Ability to simplify and humanize raw data into meaningful narratives
- Experience with basic image editing (cropping, resizing)
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Preferred
- Experience in nonprofit storytelling, donor communications, or content writing
- Understanding of Sikh values and sensitivity in storytelling tone
- Experience creating content for social media platforms

Important Note
This role directly shapes how donors perceive and connect with the children we serve. Accuracy, empathy, and responsibility in storytelling are essential.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
