Senior Lab Technician – Hematology & Flow Cytometry
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Lab Technician with expertise in Hematology, Flow Cytometry, and Serum Hemoglobin Electrophoresis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on laboratory experience, strong quality management knowledge, and familiarity with NABL documentation and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and report Flow Cytometry assays with accuracy and adherence to SOPs.
- Conduct Serum Hemoglobin Electrophoresis and other specialized hematology investigations.
- Handle routine and advanced Hematology testing, including analyzer operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with NABL standards, documentation, quality control, internal audits, and record maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, logs, quality records, and instrument documentation.
- Monitor internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Coordinate with pathologists and clinicians for timely and accurate reporting.
- Train and mentor junior laboratory technicians.
- Maintain laboratory safety, inventory, reagent stock, and equipment maintenance records.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Flow Cytometry
- Expertise in Serum Hemoglobin Electrophoresis
- Strong knowledge of Hematology
- Familiarity with NABL documentation, quality systems, and accreditation requirements
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage laboratory operations
Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Life Sciences, or equivalent.
- DMLT/BMLT/MMLT candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 8–10 years (or as per your requirement) in a clinical diagnostic laboratory or hospital.
- Prior experience in NABL-accredited laboratories is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working in high-volume diagnostic laboratories.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and laboratory accreditation.
- Strong team management and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
