Age limit : 30 - 45 yrs
A meat or fish butcher prepares, cuts, trims, and processes meat or seafood for sale. They ensure products are fresh, properly handled, and presented attractively while following hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat (beef, chicken, mutton) or fish/seafood
- Clean and prepare fish (scaling, gutting, filleting)
- Use tools like knives, cleavers, grinders, and cutting machines safely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment
- Store products at proper temperatures to ensure freshness
- Inspect meat and fish for quality and discard spoiled items
- Package, weigh, and label products for sale
- Assist customers with selecting cuts and provide cooking advice
- Manage inventory and stock levels
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of different meat cuts and fish types
- Knife handling and cutting skills
- Physical stamina (standing long hours, lifting heavy items)
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing
- Customer service skills
- Understanding of food safety standards
Working Conditions:

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
