About the Role
We are a safety lifeline manufacturing company specializing in fall protection systems. We are looking for a Fall Protection Equipment Installation Technician responsible for on-site installation, inspection, and commissioning of fall protection systems. The role involves working at heights, handling safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and installation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Install horizontal and vertical lifeline systems, anchor points, end anchors, intermediate supports, and related fall protection equipment at client sites
Perform installation at heights on rooftops, structures, towers, and industrial facilities
Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and method statements
Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drilling machines, and lifting equipment safely
Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
Conduct basic inspection and functional checks after installation
Follow site safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site in-charges
Maintain installation records, checklists, and material usage reports
Report any unsafe conditions, defects, or deviations immediately
Assist in maintenance, servicing, or retrofit of existing fall protection systems when required
Educational Qualification
Minimum: Higher Secondary (10+2)
Preferred:
ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Welder / Fabrication) OR
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Freshers may apply
1–3 years of experience in industrial installation, fabrication, mechanical assembly, or safety equipment installation will be an advantage
Mandatory Requirements :
Physically fit and medically cleared to work at height
Comfortable working on rooftops, steel structures, ladders, and elevated platforms
Willingness to travel to client sites across locations
Ability to follow safety instructions strictly
No fear of heights (acrophobia)
Skills & Competencies
Basic mechanical and fitting knowledge
Understanding of tools, fasteners, and torque application
Awareness of safety practices and PPE usage
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
Basic documentation and reporting skills
Willingness to learn fall protection standards and systems
Training & Certification
On-the-job training will be provided on:
Fall protection systems and lifelines
Work-at-height safety procedures
Use of PPE and rescue techniques
Certification in Work at Height or Safety Training will be an added advantage
Work Environment
Industrial sites, rooftops, construction areas, warehouses, factories
Exposure to outdoor conditions
Mandatory use of PPE at all times
Important Note :
This role involves working at height. Candidates must be mentally and physically fit for height-related work and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
