We are looking for a skilled Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the Laravel framework. You should have a strong understanding of PHP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and database management, along with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and project managers.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Manage MySQL database design, optimization, and migrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Deploy applications and monitor production environments.
- Stay updated with Laravel ecosystem updates and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and MVC architecture.
- Experience with MySQL and database optimization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Composer and Laravel Artisan.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or Livewire.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Redis, queues, and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with AWS, DigitalOcean, or cloud hosting platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit and feature testing in Laravel.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
