Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect to provide strategic guidance and hands-on expertise in optimizing, governing, and future-proofing our existing cloud platform. The platform is already implemented and operational; the focus of this role is to enhance scalability, security, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and optimize existing AWS infrastructure architecture.
- Drive infrastructure automation and standardization using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Implement and strengthen cloud governance frameworks, including tools such as StackGuardian or similar governance platforms.
- Recommend and establish industry best practices for security, compliance, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
- Identify and execute cloud cost optimization opportunities across AWS services.
- Define architectural standards, guardrails, and automation strategies for long-term platform sustainability.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve deployment efficiency and infrastructure reliability.
- Provide expert-level recommendations for platform modernization and future scalability.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with cloud governance, compliance, and policy management tools.
- Proven track record in AWS cost optimization and FinOps practices.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, monitoring, and cloud operations.
- Experience in designing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with StackGuardian or similar cloud governance platforms.
- AWS Solution Architect Professional or equivalent certifications.
- Experience in enterprise cloud transformation and platform engineering initiatives.
Role Objective:
The primary objective is not to build a platform from scratch but to provide expert-level architectural direction and implementation support to make an existing AWS platform more robust, optimized, governed, scalable, and future-ready.
Pay: ₹1,736,068.24 - ₹2,023,503.81 per year
