About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Management Faculty cum Academic Coordinator to manage academic delivery, student development, and faculty coordination while ensuring the smooth functioning of academic operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge in hospitality and hotel management along with excellent coordination and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement academic calendars, class schedules, and training plans.
- Coordinate with faculty members to ensure timely completion of syllabus and lesson plans.
- Monitor daily class activities and maintain academic discipline.
- Conduct regular reviews of faculty performance and teaching effectiveness.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments, assessments, and examinations.
- Track student attendance and coordinate with the operations team regarding absenteeism.
- Organize industrial visits, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and training sessions.
- Coordinate placement preparation activities including mock interviews and grooming sessions.
- Maintain student academic records and progress reports.
- Handle student grievances related to academics and ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company academic standards and policies.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly academic reports to management.
- Coordinate with placement and operations teams for student career development activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of study materials and training resources.
Faculty Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical-oriented classes for Hotel Management students.
- Teach subjects related to:
- Front Office Operations
- Food & Beverage Service
- Food Production
- Housekeeping Operations
- Hospitality Sales & Marketing
- Customer Service Excellence
- Communication Skills and Grooming
- Conduct theory as well as practical sessions effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and study materials.
- Evaluate students through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Provide mentoring and academic guidance to students.
- Prepare students for interviews, internships, and placements.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate practical knowledge into training.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in teaching, training, or hospitality operations.
- Experience in academic coordination will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

- Industry exposure in hotels, resorts, cruise lines, or hospitality sectors.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
