Roles & Responsibilities
· Ensure full, proactive compliance with all applicable labour laws including the Employees Provident Funds Act, ESI Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, and relevant state-specific statutes.
· Monitor regulatory changes, assess their operational impact, and implement updates to policies and processes in a timely manner.
· Liaise with government bodies, labour authorities, and external consultants for inspections, audits, and filings.
· Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure zero lapses on statutory deadlines (PF, ESI, TDS, and all other applicable returns).
· Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters, and all HR legal documentation.
· Own end-to-end payroll processing for all employees ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full regulatory adherence.
· Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, deductions, reimbursements, increments, and separation settlements.
· Ensure accurate computation and deposit of TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax, with timely filing of returns.
· Handle FnF settlements, gratuity calculations, and statutory disbursements for exiting employees.
· Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy and process integrity.
· Implement and manage HRMS for process automation, data accuracy, and seamless HR operations.
· Maintain complete, audit-ready employee documentation and records.
· Provide HR metrics, compliance dashboards, and analytical reports to senior leadership.
· Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders on HR policy development.
· Support performance management processes and provide guidance on disciplinary and statutory matters.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualifications & Experience
· MBA / PGDM with specialization in Human Resources from a recognized institution.
· Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
· Proven track record of independently managing multi-state payroll and statutory filings at an organizational level.
· Deep, working knowledge of PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Contract Labour regulations.
· Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms and payroll software.
· High attention to detail with a zero-tolerance approach to compliance lapses.
· Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, comfortable presenting HR data to senior leadership.
· Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with employment law documentation standards.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of the compliance function.
· Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
