BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for a Head of Creative Operations as a full-time Permanent role. The position is based out of Chennai.

Identifying inefficient, inconsistent, or under-resourced operational areas and defining improved processes and tools.

Ensuring the creative team is appropriately resourced with workstations, central storage, render farms, and DCC licenses.

Coordinating with the IT department to develop pipeline tools that align with creative department needs.

Overseeing a team of Technical Directors (TDs), runners, and VFX editors to address ad hoc creative requirements.

Identifying gaps in artist productivity and implementing targeted training modules to enhance workflow efficiency.

Managing creative activities from ingest to egress, including I/O processes and central storage conventions.

Collaborating with the Creative Head, HOP, and CIO to align delivery objectives with resource and pipeline availability.

At least 10 years of experience in the VFX industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong process orientation with an analytical and methodical approach to creative execution.

Proficiency in overseeing pipeline development and managing technical resources like render farms and storage.

Ability to identify high-impact operational changes and distinguish them from low-value adjustments.

Strong ability to collaborate across departments and drive work decisively under pressure.

Exceptionally well-organized with a proven track record in strategic planning and team management.

Engineering background is preferred to effectively bridge the gap between creative needs and technical solutions.
