Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the RM & PM Stores.
- Supervise the receipt, unloading, identification, and proper storage of raw materials and packing materials.
- Ensure materials are received against approved Purchase Orders, invoices, and relevant documents.
- Coordinate with Purchase, QA/QC, Production, and Accounts departments regarding material receipt and availability.
- Ensure proper segregation of materials as per status, such as Quarantine, Approved, Rejected, and Returned.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure systematic arrangement of materials.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed wherever applicable.
- Issue RM and PM to Production strictly against approved material requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records, registers, ERP entries, and material movement documentation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, batch/lot tracking, and traceability of materials.
- Monitor near-expiry, slow-moving, damaged, and obsolete materials and report the same to management.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive, fragile, or special-category materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, pest-control standards, and proper housekeeping within the store.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, SOPs, safety, and company requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and stock adjustments.
- Coordinate timely issuance of packing materials to ensure uninterrupted production activities.
- Supervise and guide store assistants, executives, and other store personnel.
- Prepare periodic stock reports, inventory statements, consumption reports, and reconciliation reports.
- Participate in internal, customer, regulatory, and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations related to stores.
- Ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with workplace safety procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, storage utilization, and overall store efficiency.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
Pay: ₹12,151.09 - ₹42,014.10 per month
