We are looking for Physical Education Teachers for our school located at Mogappair, Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, implement and engage Physical Education lessons for different age groups aligned with board standards.
- Train / Coach and Mentor students in Indoor and Outdoor sports.
- Focus on students skills development activities, team work, etc.
- Ensure safety of students on the fields, and implementing behavioural management
- Organise, supervise and officiate school Annual Sports Day and other sports related Events
- Conduct Intra School matches and competitions, identify and nurture talented students for competitive sports for Inter School, District, State & National Level competitions
- Guiding students on exercise routines, maximise physical activity time and teaching new skills
- Track and document students' physical development and participation.
- Maintain inventory of sports equipment and ensure proper care, storage and maintenance of sports materials.
- Inspect playgrounds and sports facilities periodically.
- Raise requisitions for purchase or replacement of sports equipment.
- Communicate with parents, staff and administration regarding student health, progress, and behavioural issues
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P. Ed.) or Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P. Ed.) from a duly recognised by appropriate regulatory authority.
- Additional certifications in coaching, athletics, or fitness training will be an added advantage.
- A Minimum of 3 – 5 Yrs of experience teaching physical education in schools with strong leadership and organising skills and proficiency in multiple sports.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
