Job Summary
The General Manager – Projects & Planning will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, leading project planning, coordinating and driving the execution of strategic initiatives across the Real Estate, Hospitality, and Logistics sectors. The role requires representing the organization in client and investor meetings, preparing professional presentations, developing commercial documents, and ensuring smooth coordination from project conceptualization to execution.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Meetings
- Represent the organization in meetings with clients, investors, consultants, government authorities, and strategic partners.
- Identify new business opportunities in Real Estate, Hospitality, and Logistics.
- Conduct project discussions, negotiations, and follow-ups with prospective partners.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of business commitments.
Project Planning & Strategy
- Prepare project feasibility studies and business plans.
- Develop project implementation strategies and execution roadmaps.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, legal advisors, and project teams.
- Stay updated on new government policies, schemes, and regulatory developments relevant to the Real Estate, Hospitality, and Logistics sectors.

Presentation & Research
- Prepare high-quality presentations for investors, clients, and management.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and location assessments.
- Study emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative business models.
- Present strategic recommendations to the Managing Director.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, Legal, Sales & Marketing, and HR teams.
- Ensure timely flow of information between departments.
- Resolve project-related issues through effective coordination.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain project dashboards and action trackers.
- Present project status updates to senior management.
- Track project budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- MBA or PGDM preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Project Planning, Business Development, or Strategic Planning.
- Experience in Real Estate, Hospitality, Logistics, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
