Key Responsibilities:
1. Tinkering Lab Management:
● Manage the day-to-day operations of tinkering labs at VIDYA centres and partner
schools, ensuring that the spaces are safe, organised, engaging, and conducive to
learning.
● Maintain tools, equipment, consumables, and material inventory; coordinate timely
procurement and ensure proper upkeep and readiness of resources for projects and
workshops.
● Train students, teachers, and facilitators in the safe and effective use of tools and
equipment and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
2. Workshops & Training Facilitation:
● Plan and lead hands-on workshops on design thinking, innovation, electronics,
robotics, rapid prototyping, and maker-based learning for students and
educators.
● Facilitate project-based maker sessions that encourage creativity, critical thinking,
experimentation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
● Support capacity-building sessions for facilitators and staff, with emphasis on
hands-on learning, prototyping, project execution, and safe use of makerspace
equipment.
3. Conducting Classes in Schools:
● Travel to partner schools and conduct regular tinkering and DigiSkill classes, integrating
practical, project-based activities with the planned curriculum.
● Collaborate with teachers, facilitators, and school administrators to ensure
effective classroom delivery, student participation, and alignment with school
requirements.
● Track student participation, learning outcomes, project progress, and programme
effectiveness through observations, assessments, surveys, and feedback, and
maintain timely programme documentation.
4. Partnership & Collaboration:
● Build and maintain effective working relationships with VIDYA teams, partner schools,
teachers, facilitators, community members, and other stakeholders to strengthen
programme delivery and impact.
5. DigiSkill Training:
● Deliver DigiSkill training in MS Office, Internet applications, digital literacy, and at least
two advanced IT courses such as Advanced Excel or Digital Marketing.
● Develop, adapt, and update course content, lesson plans, practical exercises,
assignments, assessments, and learning resources based on programme requirements
and learner needs.
● Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, identify learning gaps,
and support learners in completing practical assignments and assessments.
Technical Skills:
● Proficiency with rapid prototyping and maker tools such as 3D printers, CNC
machines, laser cutters, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, IoT, and related electronics/robotics
platforms.
● Proficiency in MS Office, Internet applications, and at least two advanced IT courses
such as Advanced Excel, Digital Marketing, Tally, or similar.
Soft Skills:
● Excellent communication, classroom facilitation, organisational, coordination,
documentation, and project management abilities.
Other Requirements:
● Passion for education, technology, innovation, and hands-on learning, with the
ability to manage dynamic and diverse learning environments.
● Familiarity with the educational landscape in Delhi NCR and experience working
with school-age children, youth, teachers, or community learners.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
