Key responsibilities
- Warmly welcome parents, visitors and children; maintain a professional, child-friendly front desk presence.
- Answer and route phone calls, WhatsApp enquiries and emails in a timely, polite manner.
- Handle admissions enquiries: provide information, schedule tours/visits, maintain inquiry and admission records.
- Maintain daily attendance/visitor logs and basic student records.
- Assist with fee collection, issue receipts and maintain simple cash/fee records (if applicable).
- Prepare and maintain front-office documentation, filing, and stationery inventory.
- Ensure front desk area is tidy and child-safe at all times.
Required qualifications & skills
- High school diploma. Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration or early childhood care is a plus.
- 1+ year experience in a receptionist, front office, or childcare-admin role preferred (experience with schools/preschools strongly preferred), Fresher can also apply.
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English and Hindi.
- Pleasant phone manner, patient with parents and children.
- Basic computer skills: MS Office or Google Workspace; comfortable using WhatsApp and email.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, reliable and punctual.
- Respectful, discreet and able to handle confidential information.
- Background check and references will be required.
Desirable
- Basic understanding of preschool operations and parent expectations.
- Familiarity with simple accounting/receipt handling.
