Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at solar project sites, ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications, and coordinate with workers, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams for timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities at solar project sites.
- Ensure installation and construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, technicians, and workers at the site.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
- Ensure proper installation of solar mounting structures, modules, cable laying, earthing, and other related works.
- Check the quality of work and report any deviations or issues to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress reports, material records, and manpower details.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure proper handling and storage of materials at site.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Identify and resolve routine site-level issues and coordinate with the concerned team for technical matters.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain good housekeeping at the project site.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities as required.
- Perform other site-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in Solar EPC / Electrical / Construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV installation and construction activities.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and site layouts.
- Good manpower and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence and personal vehicle preferred/required, depending on project requirements.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
