Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Store Incharge for our foundry division. The candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting maintenance operations for uninterrupted plant functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance store.
- Maintain inventory of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation spare parts.
- Ensure timely issue and receipt of maintenance materials.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions for critical spares.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, or similar).
- Perform inventory analysis using FIFO, FEFO (where applicable), ABC, and VED methods.
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
- Coordinate with the maintenance and purchase teams for spare planning and material availability.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards within the store.
- Support TPM and preventive maintenance activities through effective spare management.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance spare parts and engineering stores.
- Experience in foundry or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation components.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of inventory management practices and stock control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) / Graduate
- 10–12 years of experience in Maintenance Store / Material Management in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
