Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the company’s manufacturing goals and objectives to drive sustainable growth.
2. Conduct market research and detailed analysis to formulate business plans focusing on expansion, cost optimization, and development opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
3. Understand and fulfill the requirements of existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and retention in the manufacturing business.
4. Identify, approach, and acquire new customers while effectively managing relationships with both new and existing clients.
5. Build and nurture profitable partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and other key external stakeholders critical to the manufacturing supply chain.
6. Monitor and review the performance of commercial activities using relevant KPIs and present analytical reports to senior management for decision-making.
7. Ensure that all commercial contracts, purchase agreements, and vendor arrangements protect the company’s interests and minimize risk exposure.
8. Resolve contractual, pricing, and commercial disputes in a timely and effective manner to safeguard operational efficiency.
9. Lead and manage the functions of Vendor Costing to ensure competitive procurement in line with cost reduction targets.
10. Oversee Indirect Purchase activities, ensuring that non-core procurement supports smooth manufacturing operations at optimized costs.
11. Control and guide Direct Purchase processes, ensuring material availability for production with the best commercial terms.
12. Manage procurement of Capital Goods (FTGS and Non-FTGS) required for manufacturing operations and projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
13. Drive Vendor Development initiatives to identify, qualify, and nurture suppliers that align with the organization’s quality and cost standards.
14. Take ownership of Scrap Management, ensuring proper disposal, cost recovery, and compliance with environmental and safety norms.
15. Lead the Supplier Excellence function to assess, improve, and maintain supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost, and innovation, supporting overall manufacturing competitiveness.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
