Position Summary
The Field Coordinator will support the implementation of project activities at the grassroots level and work closely with women beneficiaries, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), community institutions, and local stakeholders. The role requires strong community engagement, mobilization, field monitoring, documentation, and coordination skills.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of field activities, maintaining beneficiary records, supporting training programs, and facilitating communication between the community and project team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Mobilization & Beneficiary Engagement
● Mobilize women beneficiaries and community members for project activities.
● Support formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and women collectives.
● Conduct household visits, community meetings, and awareness sessions.
● Facilitate participation of women in livelihood, entrepreneurship, and capacity-building activities.
● Build rapport with beneficiaries and ensure active community participation.
2. Project Implementation Support
● Support day-to-day implementation of project activities as per approved work plans.
● Coordinate training programs, workshops, and community events.
● Assist in organizing meetings, exposure visits, and stakeholder interactions.
● Ensure timely execution of activities at the field level.
● Identify implementation challenges and report them to the Project Coordinator.
3. Training & Capacity Building Support
● Assist trainers and resource persons during training sessions.
● Support beneficiary registration, attendance tracking, and training logistics.
● Follow up with beneficiaries after training programs.
● Encourage adoption of livelihood and enterprise development practices.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
● Coordinate with village leaders, Panchayat representatives, SHGs, and community institutions.
● Support engagement with local government departments and stakeholders.
● Facilitate communication between beneficiaries and project management teams.
● Assist in organizing stakeholder meetings and review discussions.
5. Monitoring, Documentation & MIS
● Maintain beneficiary databases, attendance records, activity trackers, and project MIS.
● Collect field data and ensure timely submission of reports.
● Capture photographs, testimonials, case studies, and success stories from the field.
● Support baseline surveys, assessments, and monitoring activities.
● Ensure proper documentation of project activities and outcomes.
6. Field Monitoring & Quality Assurance
● Conduct regular field visits to monitor beneficiary participation and project progress.
● Verify activity completion and maintain quality standards.
● Track project outputs and report deviations or challenges.
● Support monitoring and evaluation activities as required.
7. Administrative & Operational Support
● Support logistics arrangements for trainings, meetings, and community events.
● Assist in procurement coordination and distribution of project materials.
● Maintain records of project assets, inventories, and beneficiary distributions.
● Ensure compliance with project guidelines and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
● Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Community Development, Women's Studies, or related disciplines.
● Freshers with strong community engagement experience may also apply.
Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in community development, livelihoods, women empowerment, CSR projects, or social sector programs.
● Experience working with SHGs, women collectives, rural communities, or grassroots programs will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong community mobilization and communication skills.
● Ability to work closely with rural communities and women groups.
● Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
● Basic knowledge of livelihood promotion and women empowerment initiatives.
● Documentation and reporting skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office and data entry.
● Fluency in local language and Hindi.
● Willingness to travel extensively within project locations.
