About the role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to handle all quality activities in our AAC block manufacturing plant. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, reducing rejections, and supporting smooth plant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor quality at all stages of AAC block production (raw materials, in-process, and finished goods).
- Plan and carry out routine tests for density, strength, dimensions, moisture, and other key parameters.
- Maintain lab records, test reports, and daily quality logs.
- Identify quality issues, find root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of testing instruments.
- Prepare and share daily/weekly quality reports with plant management.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to reduce rework and customer complaints.
- Train operators and QC staff on quality standards and work instructions.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality control in AAC blocks / concrete / building materials industry.
- Good knowledge of AAC manufacturing process and relevant testing methods.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and basic data analysis.
- Ability to lead a small team and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Nice to have
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
- Exposure to continuous improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
